If a CPU opponent gets near sweep range, sweep them, walk back for a microsecond, and sweep again. However, the CPU has overall different patterns and is generally easier. If you play on the P2 side, the above trick does not work. This method gets more reliable as the CPU gets tougher in later matches. This does not work with Liu Kang, Kitana, Mileena, or Rayden. This allows you to easily uppercut, roundhouse, or combo them say with a high punch into Scorpion's spear.
When playing as P1 and as Kung Lao, Johnny Cage, Reptile, Sub-Zero, Shang Tsung, Jax, Baraka, or Scorpion, when the CPU walks toward you, jump backward at the last second (before they throw you.)
